A Way With Words

I am a word girl. I thrive on words. I think they may just be my favorite thing. Ha! Depending on the choice in words, they can cut to the core, or they can melt your heart. I prefer the melting of the heart words! ๐Ÿ™‚

Words matter! What we say to others can affect them in ways we will never know. I am sad to say that I have an extremely sharp tongue at times, and once those words have been said, they can only be forgiven, not forgotten… I need to remember to say my words with love.

What we say to ourselves is just as important as what we say to others. I have noticed when I think negatively, negativity sprouts up in ALL areas of my life. When I think positive thoughts, fantastic things happen! It is crazy how that works. We attract what we think!

“Man is a product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.” ~Ghandi

Words are powerful. Having a way with words is critical in everything we do. “It’s not what you say out of your mouth that determines your life, it’s what you whisper to yourself that has the most power.” ~Robert T. Kiyosaki

  1. I am also afflicted with the sharp tongue syndrome. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Becoming aware of it has helped me to choose my words more carefully. Difficult to do when emotions run high though. Great post!
